In-House Rules

These rules define the professional conduct, work standards, internal responsibilities and compliance expectations applicable to the Legal Fox India team.

Applicable Rules

Every active team member is expected to read and follow the rules listed below.

6 rules displayed
01

Office Timing

Office Time: 9:30am - 6:00pm. Break Time: 1:30 - 2:15pm. Sunday Off.

General High Priority
02

Sandwich Rules

This sandwich leave rule applies equally to both regular leave and work-from-home, so team members cannot use WFH to avoid it.

General Medium Priority Effective 01 Jul 2026
03

Half Day

A team member will be marked as present for a half day if they either arrive at the office after 11:00 AM or leave before 6:00 PM.

General Medium Priority Effective 01 Jul 2026
04

Paid Leaves

Each team member is entitled to two paid leaves per month. If these leaves are not used, they can be carried forward for up to three months. Any paid leaves that remain unused by the end of this carry-forward period will be encashed and paid out along with the salary of the fourth month.

General Medium Priority Effective 01 Jul 2026
05

Late Rule

Team members are allowed to arrive late (after 9:35 AM) up to two times a month without any penalty. On the third late arrival, one day will be deducted as leave. The next two late arrivals (4th and 5th) will again be excused, but the 6th late arrival will result in a second day being deducted as leave, and this pattern will continue in the same way going forward. Arriving after 11:00 AM will not be treated as a late arrival but as a half day.

General Medium Priority Effective 01 Jul 2026
06

Work From Home

Team members may work from home for a maximum of two days in any given calendar month, and each such day will be compensated at half-day pay. This benefit is intended to offer flexibility for occasional personal or logistical needs rather than to serve as a substitute for regular office attendance. Should a team member use more than the permitted two WFH days within a month, the entire month's WFH usage — including the days already availed as well as any additional days taken thereafter in that same month — will no longer be treated as work-from-home, but will instead be counted against the team member's leave balance. As an exception, female team members are permitted up to three work-from-home days per month under the same terms, in recognition of additional safety, commuting, or caregiving considerations they may face. All work-from-home requests remain subject to prior approval from the reporting manager, and team members are expected to remain fully available and productive during their approved WFH hours.

General Medium Priority Effective 01 Jul 2026
Rules may be amended by the management from time to time. Continued access to the internal team system indicates acknowledgement of the currently published rules. For clarification, team members should contact their reporting manager or authorised administrator.
